The ladies football Leinster minor shield final takes place this Sunday, May 17 in Freshford at 1.30pm between Kilkenny and Carlow.
The kittens missed out in a championship final place by losing to Offaly. Kilkenny pipped Carlow in last years final by a single point.
Most of last years players are still involved with the team — Aine Manning, Lisa Carey, Emer Kelly, Sinead Stapleton, Emma Baldwin, Maeve Mansfield, Debbie O’Mahoney, and Anna and Shelly Farrell. Newcomer Orla Walsh played a stormer against Offaly and no doubt will do the same against Carlow. A game not to be missed.
