The thriving country that first introduced the world to fireworks, kites to fly, and fortune cookies is now recruiting applicants for paid summer camp positions teaching in China this July, with no previous experience necessary This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting a bit of adventure travelling in China, and some extra cash in their pockets while gaining terrific work experience.
Summer camp positions run for three weeks in July with all accommodation and meals included, allowing participants to earn a stipend of €170 at the end. Participants will be trained as camp leaders and work with Chinese camp assistants teaching English to children through various games, lessons and activities.
Applicants can apply for the summer work experience through i-to-i, Ireland’s leading TEFL provider, which can also assist participants wanting to remain in China for longer paid placements within English Learning Centres after the camp’s duration.
i-to-i’s overseas partners are offering this culturally rich experience, as well as a fun and rewarding placement for anyone taking a gap year, or just wanting to do something different and gain work experience.
All applicants must be fluent English speakers, at least 18 years old and receive TEFL training before departure. i-to-i can train participants in as little as one weekend with a range of different qualifications to suit all timeframes and budgets, including strictly online training.
