The sister of a 22-year-old man who was killed at a house party in Castlecomer over Christmas has been released on bail after having been charged with his murder.
Eighteen-year-old Caroline Brennan from Love Lane, Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, appeared before Cloverhill District Court on Monday last.
Ms Brennan was granted bail following successful application to the High Court.
She has been charged with the murder of 22-year-old Michael Brennan, who died at a house on Barrack Street, Castlecomer, last December.
She is due to appear before Kilkenny District Court on May 5.
