A family day is taking place on Sunday May 3, over the Bank Holiday weekend and all are invited to attend.
A beautiful new children’s playground has been built at Woodstock which will be launched on the day.
Other events taking place include a plant sale featuring specialist nurseries from around the country and a food fair.
Pat Durkin from Birdwatch Ireland will lead a nature walk through the woods and organisers are hoping to gear this towards children in particular.
Posters and leaflets will be available from the Tree Council of Ireland and ENFO. There will be face painting and balloon making also on site.
Activities will kick off from 12 noon and continue until 5pm approx.
All are welcome to attend.
