Kilkenny’s u-14 camogie team continued their defence of their u-14 Leinster title with a resounding victory over Dublin by a scoreline of 3-11 to 1-3 at the Grennan grounds in Thomastown on Saturday last.
The game was played in hazy sunshine and conditions were perfect for camogie and with the pitch in a manicured and pristine condition, the scene was set for a lively encounter. The match started at a frantic pace with the two teams trying to gain the upper hand and the challenges and hooking and blocking from both teams was a joy to watch, however it was to be the Kittens day and the were worthy winners on 3-11 to 1-3 scoreline.
