Digital viewers in the city got a new sports news and betting channel last week, just in time for the Premiership.
The channel, SportsXchange, will be a one-stop-shop for both fans and gamlers.
Showing football, horse racing, cricket, tennis and golf, the channel will be presented by a team of sporting experts.
Stewart Robson, Ray Houghton and Alvin Martin will be covering the football, Robert Green and Jeremy Chapman are talking about golf while Lydia Hislop, Eddie Freemantle and Steve Mellish will be lending their expertise to horse racing.
SportsXchange also has secured the exclusive rights to air the Brazilian Championship Football with live matches screening every Saturday and Sunday night.
SportsXchange is available on Chorus and NTL digital channel 417.
