London based Irish comic Johnny Candon, one of the stars of Ricky Gervais’ Extras, headlines The Comedy Club at Cuba* this Friday.
Johnny’s trademark quick fire observational comedy saw him nominated for a Perrier Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2007. His current show, One Careless Lady Owner, is a bittersweet, cheeky, and charming story of a man growing up not knowing who he is but ultimately loving it. As well as Extras, he has also featured on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 out of 10 Cats.
Support is from Irish based Canadian comic Eric Shantz who has performed at all the top US comedy clubs including Caroline’s and Gotham City in New York. The MC for the evening is Gerry Mallon.
