Galway pubs will be competing for the title of Battle Of the Pubs Winner 2008 in Central Park on Thursday November 27.
Battle of the Pubs is in aid of Self Help Africa and all proceeds from the event will be going to the charity. The competition is one of strength, knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure, and all Galway pubs have been invited to take part.
All competing staff and managers will be at Central Park at 7.30pm with the competition starting at 8.30pm. Various challenges will have to be undertaken on the night such as the perfect pint, most original cocktail, best chat up line, etc. The tasks will be judged by our panel of experts and the crowd on the night.
The Battle of the Pub winner receives a plaque and the best barman/maid receives a plaque and a prize on the night.
