A 15-year-old Knocknacarra girl has been selected as one of 15 finalists in a search for the world’s next top model.
Alice O’Donnell was selected from hundreds of girls to compete in the final of the Ford Models Supermodel of the World Irish Final in association with 1st Option Models after the agency visited the Eyre Square Shopping Centre last month.
The 1st Option judges were very particularly impressed with the standard of talent from Galway this year as they also found male model Martin Curran (20 ).
The finalists were whittled down from 3,000 hopefuls who came from all over Ireland to meet with the 1st Option judges, who have spent the last two months travelling the country in a bid to find the next Ford Supermodel.
The Irish final is taking place tomorrow night (Tuesday, November 18 ) in the Burlington Hotel, the Irish female winner will be flown to Montenegro to take part in the world final of the Ford Models Supermodel of the World where she will have a chance of winning one of three contracts, totalling $500,000, with the Ford Model Agency.
The Irish male winner will also be signed up to top Irish modelling agency 1st Option Models.
