Jarlath Regan is the new face of RTÉ’s The Panel, the fastest rising star of Irish comedy, and the headline act at The Comedy Club in Cuba* on Friday November 21.
Within two years of quitting his day job, Regan’s original brand of observational humour, wit, charm, and natural ability as a story-teller, has made him a firm favourite among comedy anoraks. The wave of support for the young man is growing.
Hotpress calls him “Brilliant...the best young talent in Dublin”; Metro describes his performances as “side splitting stuff...causing near hysteria in the room”, while The Irish Times refers to him as “comic genius”.
Support is from local comic Bob Hennigan and Dubliner Marty D. Gerry Mallon, who was described in the Evening Herald recently as the “Joe Calzhage of Irish Comedy” is the MC.
Tickets are available in advance at Bar 903, The Cellar Bar, and at the door which opens at 8.30pm.
