A troubled teen who threatened to slit the throats of gardai in Clifden will spend 12 months in prison.
Thomas O’Malley (19 ) of Bunowen, Clifden, attacked gardai when they tried to bring the young man home before he caused any more trouble in his intoxicated state.
Mr O’Malley was sentenced to 13 months imprisonment at the Clifden District Court last week in relation to 14 charges.
