US sandwich giant Quiznos is set for Galway.
Galway city planners have granted permission for the sandwich bar to open in the city centre.
The unit will be located at no 8 Upper Abbeygate Street and it is planned to be open in October or early November.
Quiznos is a well-known US sandwich bar franchise. The first restaurant opened in Denver in 1981 and today there are more than 5,000 sandwich bars worldwide.
The first Irish Quiznos opened in 2004 and there are now 11 nationwide. The store in Galway will bring that number to 12.
