Erin’s Own under 21 hurlers will contest this years final after they defeated St Mullin’s by 10 points at the Éire Óg grounds on Saturday. David Miley in the Erin’s Own goal made two superb saves which inspired his side to power through to victory.
Scorers: Erin’s Own — Craig Doyle 1-2, James Doyle 1-0, Eoin Minchin 1-0, Brian Doyle 0-2, Darren Darcy, Dermot Somers, Roy Kent and John Gladney 0-1 each.

Naomh Eoin-Miseal advanced to the semi final of the U-21 football championship A semi final when they defeated Mount Leinster Rangers by three points at McGrath Park on Saturday. Naomh Eoin were reduced to 14 men for three quarters of an hour, and still held on. They will now meet the winners of the Éire Óg v Michael Davitts quarter final game.
Who Wants To Be a Thousandaire
Carlow senior hurlers are putting the final touches to their Who Wants To Be a Thousandaire fundraiser in the Talbot Hotel on tonight (Thursday ) commencing at 8pm. Proceeds from this event will go towards their holiday trip to New York in January. All are welcome to attend and support this venture for a great nights fun. Tickets cost €15 and are available on the door.
