Carlow is to host a meeting to organize the South East Anti-Lisbon Treaty group on November 4.
Nearly 77,000 south-east voters voted No to the Lisbon Treaty in the June referendum. Now a group of No supporters from Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford will be coming together to set up a permanent organisation for the region. They will also be joined by campaigners from the South Wicklow area.
The meeting, in the Seven Oaks Hotel, Athy Road, Carlow starts at 8pm.
It has been called by the People’s Movement and is part of a series that the organisation is holding throughout the country to put the organisation on a permanent footing to fight against a reversal of the Irish vote.
