The 2 Johnnies - a spring break to Galway

THE 2 JOHNNIES, the Tipperary comedy podcasting, musical, and live show phenomenon, are coming back to Galway in April as part of their Spring Break Easter Tour.

Johnny B (O'Brien) and Johnny Smacks (McMahon) won the hearts of the nation with their hugely popular, hilarious, comedy sketches and songs that capture the uniquely funny side of all things Irish.

They have clocked up 15 million YouTube views; have had 80,000+ listeners to their #1 podcast; enjoyed six No 1 singles; and have 180,000 Facebook followers, and 100,000 Instagram followers. As The Farmers Journal said: "If you don't know who The 2 Johnnies are, it is for one of 2 reasons... you are either not on social media or you've been living under a rock".

The pair were unstoppable in 2019, showcasing their full band show and comedy duo set at major festivals. They were the most saved act on the Electric Picnic app and performed before more than 8,000 fans on the new Terminus Stage. They were a highlight of Vodafone Comedy Carnival, with their Podcast show outselling festival headliners John Bishop and Bill Bailey - and that was before they announced Marty Morrissey as their guest.

The 2 Johnnies are in the Galmont Hotel Ballroom on Sunday April 12. Doors are at 6.30pm with the show at 8pm. This is a 'Róisín Dubh Comedy presents...' event.
