Wild Youth and Rofi James @ Monroe's

Leading young Irish bands in a show presented by GMIT SU

TWO OF Ireland's leading emerging bands, Wild Youth and Galway's Rofi James, play Monroe's on Thursday September 27 at 9pm at a show presented by the GMIT Students Union.

Pop-rock band Wild Youth saw their debut single 'All or Nothing' become a viral hit and stay at the top of Spotify’s viral chart for more than two weeks. This led to playing with Niall Horan, Zara Larsson, Picture This, and The Coronas, and appearances at Longitude, Sea Sessions, and Indiependence. Their follow-up single, the radio hit 'Lose Control' brought the bands streams to more than a million, while 2017 ended with sold out headline shows in Dublin and London.

Following the success of their debut singles ‘Fool For Your Love’ and ‘Open Eyes’, Rofi James have played with Picture This, Hermitage Green, and Ryan Sheridan. They performed at Electric Picnic last year and were named Galway Advertiser Best Galway Band of 2017. Their most recent single, 'Reason', hit No 3 in the Radiomonitor Breaking Irish Music Airplay charts.

Tickets are €10, including booking fee from www.monroes.ie or €12 on the door.
