Clarinbridge take on Athenry at 3pm, and at 4.30pm Tynagh Abbey Duniry face off against Killimordaly to see which teams will be entering the last 12 teams left in championship 2017.

Outsiders Monivea/Abbey pulled off what must be the shock of the football championship so far when knocking out Tuam Stars at the quarter-final stage by 3-09 to 1-10 in Corofin on Saturday.
Last year's intermediate champions are now just one game away from being in this year's senior final in two weeks' time when they will face Mountbellew/Moylough, who hammered St James by 21 points.

Reigning county champions Corofin will play Moycullen this weekend in the quarter-final of the county championship after keeping their ‘drive for five’ alive when overcoming last year's finalists, Salthill/Knocknacarra by 1-18 to 2-12.
On a wet and windy day in Tuam Stadium, Kevin O'Brien’s squad was full value for the nine-point lead with 10 minutes remaining before a late surge from Salthill gave them 1-4 without reply to provide an exciting finish to what was otherwise a poor second half.

At times it was sparkling, others nerve wracking, but at the end of the day it was just brilliant as Galway ended a 29-year wait to bring the Liam MacCarthy Cup west of the Shannon for the fifth time.
Three minutes in it looked like they might do it the easy way, hitting Waterford for three points in the opening 180 seconds, but once Kevin Moran got in behind the Galway defence and drove the ball low past Colm Callanan in the Galway goal to kick life into what looked like a startled Waterford, it was game on.
