MUSIC FOR Galway presents a trusty antidote to the darkness and cold of January in the form of a heart-warming weekend of great chamber music running from Friday January 21 to Sunday 23 at the Town Hall Theatre.

PIANIST BARRY Douglas, illusionist Keith Barry, comedian Des Bishop, singer Johnny McEvoy, and classic plays by Tennessee Williams, Brian Friel, and Shakespeare all feature in the Town Hall’s programme over the coming months.

It was inspired by a farcical concert, it got up and running thanks to a whip round in a living room, and was sustained by much perspiration from its members during economically depressed times.
