Judge John Neilan remanded the two factions involved in the Dalton Park riot in July to Mullingar Court on October 16 and November 6, at the local court last week.
One defendant was remanded on bail to October 16 next: David McDonagh (26 ), 4 Reask Court, Navan, Co Meath. He is charged with using or engaging in threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace at Dalton Park, on July 29. He is also charged with failing to comply with a direction of Garda Adrian O'Reilly.
Michael McDonagh (24 ), 12 Northern Close, Belcamp Lane, Coolock, Dublin 12, is charged with assaulting David Nevin, failing to comply with a direction of Garda David Mead, and using or engaging in threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace at Mullingar General Hospital on July 29.
Patrick McDonagh (70 ), 137 Dalton Park, Mullingar, is charged with using or engaging in threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace at Dalton Park on July 29, and failing to comply with a direction of Garda Brendan Hogan on the same occasion.
John McDonagh (33 ), 185 Dalton Park, Mullingar, is charged with failing to comply with a direction of Garda Adrian O'Reilly and using or engaging in threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace at Dalton Park on July 29. Michael McDonagh (36 ), 6 Reask Court, Navan, is charged with the same offences.
Judge Neilan remanded the following defendants on bail to November 6: Christy 'Ditsy' Nevin (53 ), Bay 8, St Michael's Park, Mullingar, is charged with using or engaging in threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace and failing to comply with a direction of Sergeant Patrick Gallagher, at Dalton Park on July 29.
David Nevin (30 ), 9 St Michael's Park, Mullingar, is charged with using or engaging in threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace, failing to comply with a direction of Garda Martin J McGowan, and assaulting Michael McDonagh at Mullingar General Hospital on July 29.
Hugh Nevin (20 ), 31 Grange Crescent, Mullingar, is charged with assaulting Lucy Dinnegan and using or engaging in threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace at Dalton Park on July 29.
James Nevin (24 ), Bay 3, St Michael's Park, Mullingar, is charged with failing to comply with a direction of Garda Brendan Hogan and using or engaging in threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace, at Dalton Park on July 29.
John Nevin (24 ), Bay 7 St Michael's Park, Mullingar, is charged with using or engaging in threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke a breach of the peace, failing to comply with a direction of Garda Stephen McDonagh and assaulting Michael McDonagh at Mullingar General Hospital, on July 29.
