A picture tells a thousand words. And Junior Chamber Ireland (JCI ) Mayo is hoping to help people make sure their picture is telling the right kind of story, particularly on their LinkedIn profile.
LinkedIn is a social networking site for professionals where people network and do business, and the January 2014 meeting of JCI Mayo will be all about the importance of a great profile picture.
So much so that professional photographer Liz King, from King Klix Photography, will be at the meeting to give advice and help professionals get their profile picture just right.
For €20, people will be able to get a new profile picture taken on the night and 50 per cent of the photo fee will go to charity.
The event takes place on Thursday, January 30, in the Custom House Studio and Gallery, The Quay, Westport, from 7.30 to 9 pm. Light refreshments will also be served after the meeting in The Helm, Westport Quay.
The event is free to attend.
