A man who caused an obstruction with his vehicle on a Castlebar footpath was convicted and fined €100 at Castlebar District Court this week.
Garda Michael Toland observed the vehicle of Michael Ward, 5 Meadow Park, Westport Road, Castlebar, block the footpath on Bridge Street, Castlebar, on February 26 2011.
A fixed charge notice was issued, but went unpaid.
Judge Mary Devins convicted and fined the defendant.
