Free mentoring clinics at GMIT innovation centres

If you have a business idea and you would like help unlocking the potential of that idea then you should get in touch with your local Innovation in Business Centre (IiBC ) in Castlebar. The IiBC can help to develop and grow new business start-ups.

The centres are supported by Enterprise Ireland and provide early stage companies with affordable office space and a range of business development supports. In the region the IiBC has contributed to the creation of more than 100 jobs and 10 high growth start up companies. IiBC clients have raised €9,000,000 in funding and €750,000 in research funding.

The type of support available includes: marketing, sales, financial, export development, mentoring, networking, and referrals. They can also help with IP, patenting, copyright, and trademark queries. Along with this there is a raft of other support services available from medical technology research to solar panel testing and characterisation facilities.
