The Kilkenny 40s+ social club Destiny is holding a monthly boogie night on Friday May 29 between 10pm -1am at Hotel Kilkenny (city rooms ).
The 40s+ social club was set up last year by long time friends Suzanne Edwards and Annette Tarten when they launched their regular monthly boogie nights in Clonmel, Co Tipperary. Suzanne and Annette have targeted the over 40s age group as the options are limited for socialising, and they wanted to offer something a little different to the pub scene. The club is aimed at couples and singles.
The monthly boogie nights in Tipperary are going strong with members hailing from surrounding counties, such is the popularity of the night.
Now firmly established, Suzanne and Annette want to bring their social club to Kilkenny.
All their experienced 40s+ DJs play a wonderful selection of popular music from the 60s through to the 90s with a little bit of everything you can shake a leg to plus a few slow ones too! The entrance fee is €10 and smart dress is required.
For a limited period only, everyone attending will receive a free membership and will be added to the Destiny members’ list. Members are kept informed of the monthly boogie nights being held as dates, venues and DJs change.
