Comedy @ Galway Fringe Festival

THERE WILL be plenty to laugh about at the Galway Fringe Festival with a comedy line-up that includes Galway favourites Bob Hennigan and Connor McDonough-Flynn, and the Best of Irish Comedy Awards.

The Finge's Galway Comedy Club will be located at the Stock Exchange on Shop Street, which will also host the Best of Irish Comedy Awards from July 15 to 18, with the winner being announced on Friday July 24.

The fringe will also see Mayo born, Galway based comedian Bob Hennigan perform his debut one-man show, The Old Greying Gristled Pest, in The Dew Drop Inn on July 12, 14, 18, 20, 22, 24, and 26 at 9.30pm. Admission is €4. Bob will sound off, in humourous terms, about everything that is wrong in the world. Expect bitter-sweet tirades, ideas for breaking into the film industry, and thought-provoking haiku. Bob is a veteran of the comedy scene, having supported Kevin Bridges, Jimmy Carr, Jason Byrne, and John Bishop.

Connor McDonough-Flynn also present his debut one-man show, I’m Not Special, upstairs in Coyotes Late Bar in The Stock Exchange, on Saturdays (July 11, 18, and 25 ) at 6pm and Fridays (July 17 and 24 ) at 8pm. The show will see Connor will weave his way through his own psyche, realizing along the way what is truly important. Admission to this show is €8.
