LOUGHREA SINGER-SONGWRITER Neev Kennedy has released her debut album From The Depths, which sees her returning to her folk roots after a number of years working in dance music.
The 25-year-old is best known for her vocals, lyrics, and collaborations with leading lights of the trance scene, including Max Graham and Armin Van Buuren, but From The Depths showcases soulful, melodic, ballads. The album was written, recorded, and produced with musician Dave Payne in the basement of Neev’s Dublin home.
Neev released her debut EP Cardboard Spaceship in 2008 to critical acclaim and saw three singles topping the indie download charts in 2009. Her song ‘Gullible’ was also picked for song of the week on Ian Dempsey’s Breakfast Show, while the single ‘10 Times’ won the Youbloom Song Contest, judged by Bob Geldof in 2010.
From the Depths is available for download on iTunes, Spotify, and Bandcamp.
