The Connemara Coast Hotel listed in McKennas’ Guide for seventh successive year

The Connemara Coast Hotel has been listed in the McKennas’ Guide for the seventh consecutive year. The Guides written by John and Sally McKenna have acquired a reputation as the most original and imitated guidebooks to Ireland.

They describe the Connemara Coast Hotel as a hotel that possesses the ‘Blink Moment’ ‘You simply have to walk in the door, see the gleam and sparkle, view the ocean glinting through the glass, hear someone greet you warmly, and the Blink Moment is complete”.

Furthermore they state that at the Connemara Coast Hotel “that beautiful feeling - the essence of hospitality; the essence of welcome; the essence of Irishness – is one of the nicest experiences any traveller can have, and the crew in the Connemara Coast Hotel understand it implicitly: it is in their blood.”

According to Ann Downey, General Manager, “The team at the Connemara Coast Hotel are absolutely delighted to be included in the McKennas’ Guide again this year. It is such a prestigious publication best known for its independence, accuracy and ability to discover the real gems of Ireland’s hotel industry and it is an honour for us to be included”.
