Aussie group Strings for Ammo play Monroe’s Live

STRINGS FOR Ammo were formed in Brisbane, Australia, in 2012 by Steven Fothergill and Joe Murray.

The boys find it hard to class themselves in any musical genre as they mash a range of influences from every category such as Irish trad, reggae, rock, and blues.

They met at various jam sessions and nights around Brisbane and have been collaborating with friends both nationally and internationally, sharing ideas and introducing new music to their sound.

Though indecisive with their musical genre, these guys pride themselves in knowing what their fans want - catchy and uplifting tunes.

Strings for Ammo play Monroe's Live BackStage Bar tomorrow.

Doors open at 11pm. Tickets are €5/€3 online at www.monroes.ie
