The improved Bus Éireann expressway route 20/X20 that travels from Galway to Dublin Airport, and connects to Dublin city, has been launched.
The enhanced route will provide 15 services a day in each direction with services starting from Galway at 6.30am and departing Dublin Airport at 6.50am, with fares starting at €13.
All Route 20/X20 services from Dublin to Galway will start at Busáras (Dublin city centre ) and travel via Dublin Airport, while the service from Galway to Dublin will go to Dublin Airport first before heading to Dublin city.
The revised route was opened by the Tourism Minister Michael Ring at the Athlone Bus Station, who said the improved service provided a direct link for commuters between Galway, Athlone, Dublin Airport and Dublin city.
“With the exciting development of the Wild Atlantic Way, tourists can experience the rich and enchanting coastal touring routes that the country has to offer.”
