ARTIST, SONGWRITER, singer, musician, and former boxing champion, Jim McKee is a multi-talented individual.
The Tyrone born, Burren based, McKee is coming to Monroe’s Backstage Bar this Sunday at 10.30pm to perform songs from his current album Goodness Comes From The Heart and other compositions. His style is influenced by Irish folk and trad and Americana.
Also on the bill is Emily Whelan, described by Jack L as “one of the most heartfelt and passionate singer songwriters that I have heard in a long time.”
Whelan’s songs are bright, effervescent affairs, from the pop smarts of ‘Life’ to the Alanis Morrisette-esque ‘Fred’.
