THE UPROARIOUS bluegrass, gypsy, hip-hop, and swing sounds of Mikey and the Scallywags will be heard in the Galway City Youth Café tomorrow.
The band will play the café, in the Fairgreen, opposite the Coach Station, as part of the Pop Up Youth Art Festival.
The event begins at 7pm with an hour long open mic session hosted by Mikey for young singers, songwriters, and poets. Open Mic performers should arrive for 7pm, or earlier, because places will fill quickly. The concert begins at 8pm.
Mikey and the Scallywags have played at the top music festivals in Ireland including Body and Soul, Knockanstockan and the Electric Picnic.
