SIXTEEN IRISH and international artists will display their work at a new exhibition, opening next week at The Shed, Middle Pier, Galway Harbour.
Lorg Presents...An Exhibition of Contemporary Printmaking opens on Thursday April 11 at 7pm, featuring traditional printmaking, sculptural works, photography, collage, and book art.
The participating artists are Anastasia Artemeva, Fiona Burke, Ramona Burke, Tom O’Dea, Stefanie Dykes, Dominic Fee, Aoibheann Greenan, Fiona Kelly, Lynne O’Loughlin, Alicia Lydon, Sumi Perera, Tim O’Neil, Paul Maye, Matthew Quain, Dolores De Sade, and GMIT printmaking students.
The works on show respond to ideas on the the production and consumption of information, the subjectivity of data, and cultural conventions.
It runs until April 27. Opening times are Tuesdays to Saturdays, 12 noon to 6pm or by appointment.
