Fuzzed Out Sessions at The Cellar Bar

FUZZED OUT Sessions is the name of a new night for hard rock and heavy metal gigs and the pilot event for the nights takes place downstairs in The Cellar Bar this evening at 8pm.

Taking to the stage will be four Galway acts: Rites, Weed Priest, Fires of Babylon, and Strange Crow. The event is organised by Desert Rock Ireland and HexenHaus Promotions.

Rites have impressed metal fans over the last year and their self-titled début 12” showcases their Black Sabbath style extreme sludge metal to exciting effect.

Weed Priest are currently working on the début album. Their style is a mix of slow, sludgy, psychedelic doom metal and occult mysticism; Fires of Babylon play stripped down garage rock. Check out their EP Ruins; Strange Crow are a two-piece band who have a grungy/melodic sound.

Admission is free.
