THE ENGLISH rapper, poet, and spoken word artist, poet, Kate Tempest & The Sound Of Rum play upstairs in Kelly’s on Friday November 12.
Kate, who played Electric Picnic this year is coming to Galway as part of The Spirit of Voice Festival which takes place from November 12 to 14.
Her inspirations very from the Wu Tang Clan, to Shakespeare and Blake, John Coltrane and the Bible. Kate’s visceral style, lyrical symbolism, and topical themes have made her one of the most exciting young underground hip hop acts in Britain.
Support is from The Atlantis Collective, Americana band Dons Goodbye Café, and the Donegal based African rap act Lucky Crew.
