THE DUBLIN Gospel Choir has been described by The Irish Times as “a must see” while Hotpress said they “bring a smile to the face...uplifting stuff”.
Now Galway will get to see what the fuss is about when the choir play the Róisín Dubh on Saturday November 4 at 8pm.
From their modest beginnings as a local school choir in Dublin’s inner city 15 years ago, they have become a household name in Ireland, helped by their huge media popularity and also their annual slot at the Electric Picnic Main Stage.
The choir has also collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, Damien Rice, and The Chieftains. They also made Irish music history recently by becoming the first gospel act to break into the Top 30 Irish album charts with their debut album Doing Their Thing.
