Remus to open first Irish store

Ireland’s leading menswear brand, Remus Uomo will open its first Irish store in Galway’s Eyre Square Centre on Thursday evening next March 11.

Fresh from his appearance on Friday’s night’s Late Late Show, the star of The Apprentice, Breffny Morgan, (the “Breffmeister” ) will join local sporting and entertainment personalities in a special fashion event at the new Remus Uomo store in the Eyre Square Centre.

Also taking part will be the finalists in the West’s Sexiest Man competition which has been organised by Remus Uomo to celebrate the opening of their Galway store.

Commencing at 6.30pm, the fashion event will showcase the latest looks from the Remus Uomo 2010 spring summer Collection which has received rave reviews from fashion critics for its wardrobe “must haves” for the fashion forward male.

Following the fashion show, the winner of the West’s Sexiest Man competition will be announced and presented with his prize of an all expenses paid trip to the Italian Grand Prix.

Master of ceremonies for the evening is well known RTE personality Hector Ó hEochagáin who will also perform the official opening of the new store.

In Galway this week to finalise preparations for the stores official opening, Simon Anderson, Retail Operations Manager, for Remus Uomo said that he is very excited about opening thefirst Irish store in Galway.

“Galway is a vibrant shopping centre with a very fashion conscious customer base which we have seen from the response to the Sexiest Man Competition. So we are sure that the new Remus Uomo store will do well here. The new store will also showcase our latest sleek shop-fit, with the standard of finish that will be one of the most impressive in Galway.”

To celebrate its new store opening, Remus Uomo will be offering customers special in store discounts throughout their opening weekend from March 11-14.
