Karma niteclub will be giving Galway ladies a fashion boost this Christmas.
In the lead up to the festive season, Karma will be rewarding those who flaunt a funky-chic style with an opportunity to win a pair of shoes, and an overall hair and makeover.
According to marketing manager Sarah Lucey the days of the classic chic look are becoming less and less popular with more and more people being adventurous mixing and matching funky hats, suit jackets, and waistcoats.
“Observing how Galway ladies dress on a typical Friday and Saturday, we have the right image and style at the club. Karma sees Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and even stars from The Hills being the style icons for our target market.”
Sarah Lucey says this London/Boho look suits Karma where its funky music and carefree atmosphere allows ladies to let loose.
“Ladies often await the Christmas season, worrying about funds and the costs of creating the perfect outfit. The pressure and competition to look beautiful is often heightened by celebrities endorsing designer brands. Spending €500- €600 on Jimmy Choos and Christian Louboutin leads to ladies being overcome with guilt, admiring the shoes from their wardrobe never daring to wear them.
“Karma understands that a lady has to let loose at the weekend. However we also understand the need to have those killer heels to complete an outfit in time for the Christmas bash.”
Now the popular Galway venue will select a lady with the “London look” on Saturday nights and she will receive a pair of funky shoes from Red or Dead, Irregular Choice or Schuh to the value of €100 each. The final November 28 will see the overall funky-chic lady winning a hair and makeover from Bellissimo and Shelly’s.
