Founded in 1961, Irish School of Motoring has been the nation’s leading and most successful driving school for almost 50 years. From its humble beginnings as a two car operation ISM grew quickly to become the largest, longest running, and only nationwide school of motoring in the country.
There have been a lot of firsts for ISM throughout the years. The first person to pass the Irish driving test was taught by the company. The first driving school car was purchased by ISM. The first driving instructor in Ireland was employed by ISM and is still teaching people to drive today. More recently, ISM is the first driving school to go nationwide.
In keeping with its tradition of being at the forefront of the driving instruction industry, ISM is now ready to introduce another first to the industry in Ireland. Understanding that the internet has become the conduit by which people now choose and purchase their products and services, ISM has introduced a unique and revolutionary online booking system.
This pupil generating system has been designed and developed by a team of senior ISM instructors and is the first of its kind in Europe.
How does it work?
ISM will supply all franchisees with mobile handheld technology with integrated booking software so they can manage their diaries and receive new bookings without the hassle of having to take calls during lessons. This technology ensures no more missed calls and maximises pupil capture. Your pupils, new or existing, can make a booking when you are on a lesson or when you are off duty. This technology is set to completely revolutionise how people choose and book their driving lessons in the future.
With the help of this new booking system, ISM has great plans for the future and will be looking to extend its franchise operation to most major towns and cities in the Republic of Ireland as well as Northern Ireland over the coming months.
