Sahaja Yoga is practiced in over 180 countries around the world and is based on the authentic and almost forgotten teachings of ancient Eastern seers, with the emphasis on encouraging the mind to move into a state of peaceful mental silence. Practitioners from all walks of life continually report improvements to their health, vitality and human relationships, often within a matter of weeks from starting to meditate.
Sahaja Yoga was developed over 50 years ago by one of the world's most respected spiritual personalities, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.
In recognition of her work for humanity, Shri Mataji was honoured by many institutions across the globe. In 1996 she was a special guest at the 4th United Nations World Conference on Women in Beijing, China, and she was also twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Sahaja Meditation Ireland will be hosting a Sahaja Yoga meditation event on Wednesday 6th July at 7:00 pm in the Maldron Hotel, Headford Point, Sandy Road, Galway, H91 ET6N. The program will be a vibrant mix of live music, guided meditations and a dance performance.
