The 4th Annual Coaches Training Conference of Coach Institute of Ireland, the largest annual coaching event in Ireland, will be hosted for the first time in Galway next week.
Over the weekend of May 16-17, coaches, consultants, HR, training and development personnel, and business people will gather in the Ardilaun Hotel, to hear a range of speakers on a wide range of topics related to business and executive Coaching.
Among the speakers this year are Peter Bluckert, author of The Psychological Dimensions of Executive Coaching, and who has been listed by Fortune magazine as one of the foremost international coaches, and Hugh O’Donovan, work & organisational psychologist, who is incoming chair of the Psychological Society of Ireland Coaching Psychology Group.
Well-known Galway based coaches who will lead workshops are Rosemarie Ryan: Career Fulfilment in an Economic Downturn; Nial O’Reilly who will talk about the influence of coaching on Galway United FC, Lorna Mc Dowell on leadership, and Orla Conneely on sales coaching.
Organisational psychologist and joint director of Coach Institute of Ireland, Evelyn P Gilmore says the conference has regularly attracted more than one hundred participants since it’s inception in 2006 and plays a leading role in bringing cutting edge coaching thought to the broad community of business people and managers who are interested in coaching.
A social and networking event will form part of the Conference and will take place on the Saturday from 6pm.to 8pm.
