Theft from van
Gardai are appealing for information in relation to an incident in which a van was broken into last week.
The van, a red Ford Transit with a 181 D registration, was broken into while parked in Gleann Rua on the Dublin Road on Monday July 27 between 3pm and 3.30pm. A Samsung 8 mobile phone was stolen from the vehicle.

Car damaged in Briarhill collision
Gardai are appealing for information following a collision in Briarhill Shopping Centre last month.
The incident, which happened on Thursday July 23, resulted in damage to a 142 G grey Volkswagen Passat which was parked in the car park at the time. A red vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus, crashed into the passenger side of the vehicle but the driver failed to remain at the scene or leave any details.

Car damaged in Doughiska
A bottle was thrown at a parked car in An Castan, Doughiska, at the weekeend.
This incident occurred at around 11pm on Saturday August 1. Anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area around this time is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 388030.
Kayak stolen from Carna
An orang
e and yellow kayak, which had the words Ocean Kayak on it, was stolen from Callowfeenish in Carna last month.
The theft occurred between Thursday July 23 and Saturday July 25. Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact Clifden Garda Station at 095 22500.
Engine stolen from Leenane
Gardai are appealing for information following the theft of a boat engine from Killary in Leenane.
The 15 horsepower long shaft Yamaha engine was taken on Friday July 24 or Saturday July 25. Anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area on this weekend is asked to contact Garda Aibhe Boyce in Clifden Garda Station at 095 22500.
Bicycle stolen from Headford Road
A black and silver Giant mountain bike was stolen from outside McDonald's on the Headford Road on Saturday night.
The theft occurred between 10pm and 11pm. Anyone with any information on this incident, or who may have been offered this bike for sale, is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.
Trailer stolen from Claregalway
An Ifor Williams trailer with a 151 D registration was stolen from Montiagh in Claregalway last month.
The trailer, measuring 14ft by 5ft 10in, was taken between Friday July 17 and Monday July 20. Anyone with information is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.
Attempted burglaries on the Tuam Road
Residents reported several incidents of attempted break-ins in the Riverside and Mullan Mor areas on the Tuam Road last weekend.
There were several incidents on Friday night and in the early hours of Saturday in which residents disturbed a man while he was attempting to break into homes and vehicles. Gardai are appealing to anyone who noticed this man in the area, or who may have CCTV footage of him, to contact Garda Kolodziej in Galway Garda Station at 091 538000.
