This May, the Institute of Directors (IoD ) in Ireland will be hosting two high-level director workshops in Galway designed specifically for business leaders and company directors and delivered by expert trainers.
The Institute of Directors (IoD ) in Ireland is a dynamic network with over 3,000 members drawn from companies large and small in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
Caroline Kirrane, Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, will lead a ‘Workshop on Finance for Company Directors’, on May 5. Noted as “excellent and very informative”, this workshop will provide an understanding of company accounts, evaluating financial performance, and the right questions to ask as a company director.
Heralded as “a must”, the ‘Workshop on Great Strategy When You Are Busy, and Getting Busier’, by Strategy Consultant Dr Simon Haslam, on May 18, will explore the best approaches to planning a strategy as well as exploring the pitfalls to be aware of.
