The Roads Policing Authority is appealing for a witness to a collision which occurred in the car park of UHG earlier this month to come forward.
This incident occurred on Wednesday March 13 between 10am and 10.30am, and involved a taxi and a woman pedestrian. The pedestrian was not seriously injured, though she was brought to A&E after the incident.
Both the taxi driver and the pedestrian refer to an independent witness to the collision in their reports. This witness stopped and spoke to both parties, but had to leave the scene shortly after the Gardai arrived. He did not leave any contact details.
This man, or anyone with information, is asked to contact Garda Barry Burke at the Roads Policing Authority, Western Regional Garda Headquarters, Murrough, Dublin Road, Galway, on 091 337247.
