FOLLOWING THE return of Show Me The Funny at The King's Head last week, the second instalment of the competition to find Ireland's newest comedy star, takes place on Monday January 21.
Eight more soon to be famous new comics take to the stage, all hoping to make it into the grand final. The eventual winner will walk away with a much coveted slot at this year's Electric Picnic Festival. There are also runners up prizes. "The bar has certainly risen in the last few years and some of these new comics are already at a level that belies their stage experience," said host and MC Gerry Mallon. "There is some amazing talent out there and I don't envy the judges' task."
Special guest on the night is Karl Spain. Tickets are €5 and available at the door at 8pm.
