Giz A Laugh's Enya Martin comes to the Comedy KARLnival

From online to stand-up, Enya Martin can do it all!

ENYA MARTIN, the writer, creator, and comedian best known for her Giz A Laugh Facebook page, which has more than 260,000 followers worldwide and growing, headlines the next Comedy KARLnival at the Róisín Dubh.

From the success of her online videos, Enya has made the transition to live comedy with ease. Her stand up is a journey through life’s trials and tribulations, mayhem, and the ups and downs of relationships, via sharp observation. In 2017, she sold out her theatre shows, including a show with Rory’s Stories at the Vodafone Comedy Carnival, while this year has already resulted in three sold-out shows at Dublin’s Vicar Street.

Described as “Mayo’s most charming ball of misery”, Bob Hennigan is a veteran of the Galway comedy scene and resident MC of the highly-acclaimed Ireland’s Smallest Comedy Club. A past winner of the TedFest Toilet Duck Award and the 2015 Galway Comedy Award, expect haikus, bitter tirades, and big laughs.

Corkonian Chris McShane has been blazing a trail this year on the Cork comedy circuit. His languid style and hilarious observations have been bringing the house down in recent weeks. He has performed alongside Ross Browne, David McSavage, Fred Cooke, and Pat McDonnell, and has performed at the Cork Comedy Festival.

The show is on Tuesday August 21. Doors are at 8.30pm. The MC is Karl Spain. Tickets are €5 in advance from OMG@Zhivago, the Roisin Dubh, and www.roisindubh.net, or €7 on the door.
