Congratulations is afforded to long time Moate Golf Club member Joe Creggy who recently claimed Mike Hiney’s Captains Prize by a very narrow margin from an unlucky runner up Roger Quinn.
All prize winners and those who qualified and braved the wet conditions to honour the club captain are to be applauded for their achievements.
During his Captain’s Prize presentation speech, Mike thanked all competition participants and even apologised for the inclement weather which failed to dampen the player’s spirits during the days of competition.
